Are you highly fluent in English with exceptional pronunciation clarity and a confident on-camera presence?

Nao Now is hiring dynamic and engaging English Mentors to teach 1-on-1 online lessons to students ages 5–12 in South Korea.

Each lesson is 25 minutes and fully designed for you — interactive, gamified, and focused on building speaking confidence. Your role is to deliver clear, energetic, and structured lessons that help children feel comfortable and excited to speak English.

This is an independent contractor position.

What You’ll Do

• Lead engaging 25-minute 1-on-1 English lessons

• Create a warm, encouraging learning environment

• Follow our structured, ready-made curriculum (no lesson planning required)

• Help students build confidence, fluency, and pronunciation accuracy

• Maintain consistent professionalism and reliability

Compensation

• Competitive hourly pay based on evaluation performance and experience

• Paid per completed 25-minute lesson

• Compensation determined by:

  • Pronunciation clarity

  • Spoken fluency

  • Teaching delivery and engagement

  • Final Evaluation performance

  • Local market conditions

All lesson materials are provided. No preparation required.

Note: Training and onboarding are unpaid.

Requirements

• Advanced or near-native level English proficiency

• Clear, neutral pronunciation with strong articulation

• Bachelor’s degree (or currently enrolled in a BA program)

• Confident and engaging on-camera presence

• Experience working with children preferred

• Reliable wired internet connection (minimum 60 Mbps)

• Quiet, professional teaching environment

• Noise-cancelling headset recommended

• Availability for 7–10 hours per week during peak Korea hours (7:00–10:00 PM KST)

• Minimum 3-month commitment

All candidates must pass a live teaching demonstration and pronunciation evaluation.
